Silver and green make a good team !

Let's have a change of color today with a card mostly silver and green...

The base is a 10" x 7" rectangle cut into a silver stripes paper, folded in half to make a 5"x7" card.
I cut the journaling square tag and match it with the green pine paper, and add two mats in silver and red papers.

As you have seen, my cards this year are simple and quick to make. I really wanted to show the potential of a paper pad (here the North Pole Gazette by Recollections) without the cost of fancy cards. They are still handmade, but you could give them without fear of them being tossed in the trash. Better, you could make a bunch of cards and donate them to hospitals or charity...
