J'ai deux amours...

One month ago, I gave you a sneak peak of one of my layouts, published by Life.Paper.Scrapbook. Maybe you didn't find it or didn't have the time to look for it (it's a 100 pages issue !). So I share it with you today...

This picture was taken in the garden of the Alamo, and I love it so much I had already scrap it twice. For this version, I use K&Company papers and embellishments, Prima flowers, Inkadinkado stamp... The sketch is based on a layout of Gabrielle Pollacco (her blog here). I try to use the same neutral color she choose but I finally came back to my first love : bright colors...

By the way, the title is in French and means : I have two love

Tasty Tuesday

I don't want to make you jealous, but here we reached the summer temperature (not the hot summer yet, but pretty hot about 85 F already). So I'm in the mood for some ice cream, obviously. I don't have time to rush to my favorite store today, too handy chores waiting for me, but I have a bick pack of strawberries and heavy whipped cream at hand, so I'm making some ! It's like Lisa 's blog inspire me with her Tasty Tuesday ! She's making delicious cornbread today by the way...

So here is my strawberry ice cream in the making :

In case you want to make some for yourself, here is the recipe :

3 cup of strawberries
1 cup of heavy whipping cream
1 cup of sugar
Half a lemon
1 egg's white

Beat the egg until it's firm. Add a spoon of sugar before its done. Reserve in the fridge.
Mix the strawberries with the juice of the half lemon, and the rest of the sugar. Reserve in the fridge.
Beat the cream until it's firm.
Mix carefully all the ingredients, place in the ice cream maker and let it run !
Super easy !

ENJOY...

All you need is L.O.L.

This is the title of the layout I created for one of my workshop. I wanted my student to discover how to use stamps in different ways. So this project is made ONLY with stamps.

The background is plain blue with stamped lines, the photo frame is white with pink stamp, leaves are green paper with green stamped leaves, etc... You can recognize Autumn Leaves, Martha Stewart, Making Memories clear stamps.

So all you need to scrapbook is paper. And stamps. Lot of stamps... Oh, and inks. Or glue and glitter. Gosh, I think a started a collection of scrapbook stuffs without knowing it.

Double layout about double NY

I did not go back to NYC and made a layout about each stay. I made a double about New York, New York, the Vegas hotel ! But as the pictures are almost like the landscaping in NYC, I thought maybe you want to see it too.

I know, it's a lot brighter than NYC or than the Vegas hotel. I can't help, I love bright colors.
A lot of brands in this layout (even if I'm not paid for this, I'm listing them to help you out to recognize the products) : papers by K&Company, American Craft, Scrapabilities, basic yellow cardstock ; stamps by Making Memories, Autumn leaves ; Prima flowers ; gel pens ; I even used my Cricut for the title.

I hope it will give you some ideas for your own layout about NYC if you have some pictures of it to scrapbook...

I have tasted the apple

It's been few days since I posted, because I was traveling ! I took my two kids and my best pair of walking shoes and landed in NY. I'm still full of lights, sounds and pictures of this big town, and I can't wait to build an custom album for my pictures. But my kids are in spring break until Monday, so the only thing I can share with is few shots :

I hope you had a great Easter. See you soon for paper crafting stuff.
