Art Nouveau daffodil card

Hi there !

Still inspired by Spring for this new project for the Art Anthology blog ! I added a touch of Art Nouveau as it's my favorite artistic movement...

I cut every part of the card in white cardstock : a card base (5 1/2 x 4 1/4"), a mat (5 3/8" x 4 1/8") and different elements from the Art Nouveau cartridge that I cut with my Cricut.

I cut the frame with the image <vase3> in Font 2-s in 4 3/4" and use the center to drawn and cut a slightly larger piece. I sprayed it with Glorious Colorations and once dried, I applied Glass Sorbet over the Art Nouveau stencil on it. Once dried, I sprayed Avocado Colorations all over and wiped the excess.

The flowers are <dafodil1>, <dafodil1-s> with its layer 1s and layer 2 in 3 1/2". The base of the flower is painted in Shamrock medium as well as the frame. Stems and card base are painted in Kelly Green. Flowers and mat are painted in Canary Shine and the center of the flowers in Dayglow Yellow.

I stamped the sentiment (from the Oriental Orchid set by Altenew) on a 1/2" strip painted in Kelly green.

Here is the video tutorial I made for you :

Thank you for your time and see you soon for another project !
Have a great day...

Asian cherry blossom art journal spread

Hello everyone !

I don't know for you, but Spring is in the air in Texas ! Trees are blossoming everywhere and it inspired me to create my new art journal spread for the Art Anthology blog...

After covering my pages with white gesso, I glued some teared paper from a Chinese journal and sprayed with Peacock Feathers and Waimea Bay Colorations.

Then I stamped cherry blossom flowers (Stampendous) and round design (Hampton Art) in black ink, before using the Floral Tile stencil with Gold Metal Effect.

The cherry blossom branches were cut with my Cricut from the Home Decor cartridge in white paper, and then painted with Onyx Shine and Cotton Candy Velvet.

I wrote the journaling on a strip of white paper and painted it with Cotton Candy too.
Here is the video tutorial just for you !

Thank you for your time on this Monday ! See you soon for another project...
