Thank you card with Autumn Sunset papers by Prima

Hello !

I was lucking enough to win a great pack of paper pads from the Autumn Sunset collection by Prima Marketing, thanks to Scrapbook.com !
It was a perfect timing because I had to make a thank you card for someone, and the 6x6 pad is just the right size to do so ! Take a look at the card I made :

I just needed a blank card, two sheets of the 6x6 pad, one black cardstock sheet and few things to cut the elements to create it ! The doilie is an old Prima die, the foliage is a Spellbinders set, and the tag is cut with a punch.
The small flower was create with three small flower punches and a small yellow flower crystal.

Few rub-on letters to write thank in you in French et voila ! The card is already flying to France, it was so quick to made !

Thank you for stopping by today, see you soon for another project...

P.S. : here are the affiliate links of products I used to create this card...

Perpetual calendar

Hello !

Just a quick post to show you how I dress up a wooden perpetual calendar with papers...

I found a wooden calendar on super sale before Summer, and didn't have the time to work on it before now ! I used papers from the Garden Charm stack by DCWV, some purple paint and my Scan-N-Cut to cut the words and numbers.

How cute is that ?! Would be a nice gift for a teacher...

Thank you for stopping by today, and see you soon for another project...

October fun layout

Hello crafty friends !

We finally have some cool temperature here in Houston (who am I kidding ? We are in the 80F...) at least for few days ! That's good for my Fall inspiration ! We don't have the Fall colors yet, but never mind, I'm using them anyway ! Here is my first Fall layout of 2019, with pictures taken last year...

I made this one as a sample for the October challenge of the the DCWV Facebook page, with two stacks I still have from my DT terms with them : Autumn Leaves and Harvest House.

I cut out the round design from one of the sheet, and the strips from both stacks using the Tim Holtz Tattered Banners die by Sizzix. I added Distress Vintage photo ink to the edges of the cuts and the background.
The title "October fun" was created with brown stickers Alpha SchoolHouse by Making Memories (from 2008 !).

See I'm still in this "I use my old stash" mood, with these DCWV stacks from previous collection, the retired die and the alpha stickers from 2008 ! Not sure I will see my stash get down enough to have to buy new papers (or flowers, or stickers, or...), but I'm on a good path !

Thank you for stopping by today ! See you soon...
