Still scrapping with a very limited stash, but with the help of an old Sketchabilities sketch, I did another layout :
No challenge this time, just for the fun of creating...
I use an old but cherished Recollections pad (butterflies and flowers are cut out of one of the papers), Prima Marketing acrylic stamp, We R Memory Keepers and Recollections washi tapes, gesso and pink chalk by Prima Marketing.
I didn't have space in my luggages for alpha stickers, so I had to think about how to make the title, and I found an old ruler with alphas (the kind we use in school) in my French house, and I used it for the title : upper case for ART, lower case for "iste" (artiste is artist in French. See French is not so hard...).
I LOVE this picture of my daughter... She still love to paint, but mostly to draw. I will try to found a manga-drawing activity when school will start. She's very talented.
See you soon...
You will find posts about scrapbooking, cardmaking, Mixed media, altered object, tags... anything about papercrafts and so much more.

K.I. Memories lace as a stencil
Hi everyone !
Waoh ! A week without blogging ? Where was I ? In France ! Yes ! It's summer and I back in the south of France, but not only for vacations.. I will stay the entire following year !
You should have see my family and me at the airport... 1 husband, 2 daughters, 1 dog and 8 luggages... We had to rent the biggest car we found because no one would have took us in a cab...
I found jungle in my yard, but it's so good to be home ! So few days here, and no time to scrap, but I have to show you a layout I made in Aberdeen.
I used the white lace cardstock by KI Memories in two ways : as a stencil with frayed burlap distress ink by Tim Holtz, outlined with a black fine pen (Copic), and few cut pieces as embellishments.
That's one more for my Istanbul scrapbook. The picture was taken on the Burgazada island. The title say it all, I didn't feel like adding journaling.
See you soon for more French news...

The background is a blue polka dot paper, and I add few strips of paper, covered with gesso, modeling paste and ink, using also an acrylic stamp (Prima Marketing), with some spray of coffee bean ink (Inkadinkado). Two I Am Roses flowers, few buttons (Recollections), and a home made embellishment with gold paint (Martha Stewart mold). Title cut with Cricut Expression in black cardstock.

Feeling Sketchy layout challenge #95
Hi there !
These Feeling sketchy challenges really helps me create more pages ! Here is the layout sketch for July :
I ended up with this layout about my daughter's sweet smiles, or should I say sugary smile... :
The background is a Bella Blvd paper, with some vanilla paint under the doilie, made with Recollections paper and a Mini 8 punch.
The title "Life" is a cut made with my Cricut a long time ago, when the file was free for a week. The rest of the title is made with KI Memories alpha stickers. The border on the right side of the picture is a KI Memories as well.
The dark pin doilie is a Sizzix die (BoBunny paper), matted with a light pink paper (Making Memories).
You can also find a KI Memories chipboard, an Heidi Swapp mat, and an American Crafts marker on this layout.
You can win prizes from Molossi & AuroraWings Digi Stamps this month, so grab your stash and play !

Color-Me-scrappy challenge #65
I know for US folks summer has already began, but for us, European people, summer came along with the end of school in July ! So it's officially summer now for me, and I want it filled with party and friends !
That is exactly what I choose for my new layout for CMS. The twist this time was to highlight a celebration in the project. Here is the color scheme :
I choose a farewell party as a celebration, one of the many we have in Houston. Farewells are part of our expatriate life, they are joyful and sad at the same time, but they're always fun. In texas, we know how to party : pool and BBQ ! And don't forget the frozen margarita's machine. That's my favorite. I really need a big one. I only have the Margaritaville blender, and you can only make 3 Texas size drinks at a time...
So here is my layout :
I love this color combo, perfect for July celebration and it matches a pool party. I only used Webster's Page papers for this layout, the ones who came from my warehouse box from last year !
This month we have a great sponsor...October Afternoon!!! This wonderful company has donated some get "Public Library" papers and stickers for one lucky participant this month. So come play at CMS !
