Hello !
Back with another layout, with a picture taken few years ago in a place I like to go with my family : Center Parc. It's a big closed forest with bungalows arranged around a huge indoor pool complex. Dogs and cats are allowed. We had such good times every time we've been there. Of course, there's no way to go there soon...
So I made a layout to remember these days :
The plan is to use as many as I can of my old stash during this quarantine... So I dig out my Vintage Emporium and Tales of you and me pads (Prima), plus scraps of papers. To match the colors of my picture, I used red and blue watercolors to create directions on the page.
Old flowers (like the Prima Planner Travel's Journal), old metal embellishments (painted), old leaves dies (by Prima and Spellbinders) and old stamps (Finnabair and Bo Bunny).
I have even painted this old flower in blue and splattered it with white gesso to match my layout... And don't forget the distress ink !
It's kinda sad these items are not sold anymore, because they are really great ! If you're lucky, you can find some at Tuesday Morning... of course after the quarantine...
Thank you for stopping by today. See you soon for another project !
Take care and stay home.
You will find posts about scrapbooking, cardmaking, Mixed media, altered object, tags... anything about papercrafts and so much more.

Altered Ukulele
Hello !
I told you few days ago that I was working on a new mixed media project... Here it is : an altered UKULELE ! It was a special request of my daughter... and it still is a musical instrument !
I bought an Ukulele kit in France during my last vacations and built the frame recently.
Before adding anything to the frame, I used a Hero Arts stencil with heavy white gesso, then cover everything with light white gesso before painting it in blue (mixed with a little bit of white). Once dry, I brushed Ginger Magic paint.
I order the new Fragrant Roses by Prima especially for this project to create the rose with paper clay. I colored the flowers in rusty red, brushed with Ginger Magic paint, and the leaves in Green gold and Fairy Wings paints before gluing them to the frame.
You can see that I also used gold paint with the red before mounting the cords.
This was a fun project to create, and not complicated at all ! Don't hesitate to try it and ask me if you need some advises !
I wish you a great day, and see you soon !
P.S. : here are some affiliate links of products I used in this project.

First quarantine layout
Hello there !
I hope everyone is safe at home. My family and I did self-quarantine since the 13th. My husband is working from home, and I am now proposing sessions via Skype (for those who don't know yet, I am an hypnotist, and a psychologist but with a French diploma). My oldest daughter came back just in time from Canada on Saturday, and the youngest has school classes on line since Tuesday... Let says I didn't have time to be bored yet, and even did manage to create few things...
Here is the first layout I made during this quarantine, with a picture from our last cruise in 2018. I love this picture, we both look gorgeous, but the colors weren't easy to work with...

I must say that I am ready to stay home (like forever) with all the stash I hoarded over the years... And I did use a lot of old things in this layout... Prima flowers, Bo Bunny, Prima and 49and Market stamps, DCWV, Graphic 45 and 7 Dots Studio papers, distress inks...
I also used some leaves dies with black cardstock.
These Prima flowers are so old you can't even find them at Tuesday Morning...
I have another project on hands, it will take few more days to finish. It involves stencil, air dry clay and moulds... So come back soon to see the result !
Thank you for stopping by and take care !

White and gold altered mask
Hello eveyrone !
It's been a long time without posting ! I was pretty busy during the beginning of this new year, having my parents-in-law home, traveling to France for a month... I am now back with a new mixed media project, a kind that I love to make : mask !
While in France, I took the opportunity to buy two more paper mache masks to alter.
This time I used lace, metal embellishments, paper flowers, buttons...
Some of the embellishments are made with paper clay and moulds, like the Curio Trinkets, Vintage Art Decor Rustic flowers or Medallions. I also use the tiny clay or silicate pearls found in the the new tems you bought.
I painted the mask in white, and Gold Rush Metallic paint by Prima with a fan paint brush.
It is perfect for Mardi Gras, isn't it ?
I made a video tutorial to help you achieve this kind of look :
Thank you for stopping by and see you soon for another project...
