May is such a busy month, not very a good time for crafting... This year, I had finals for both of my daughters, college organization for one, farewells and summer parties every week end, readings for my new training, planning for my France trip...
But I had to create a very special card for a friend of mine, going back to France after 7 years living in Houston, and I'm sharing it with you now !
I knew I had to use an Eiffel Tower somehow, so I dug into my stash and found this piece of paper with a tower and the word Paris on it (Glimpse of Paris kraft paper). The rest of the papers came from the Prima Ledger paper pad and few other scraps.
I used a lot of different things to create my cluster : Spellbinders leaves die cuts with an old Prima paper (Second Wind collection), Prima Bedtime Story and other brands flowers, metal flowers with gesso and Art Anthology ink (Siesta Key), and few metal dots.
You can also spot a chipboard word found at Michaels, air dry clay lace, small white doilies (Bo Bunny), another doily cut with a Prima die, and a tiny Cosmo Cricket tiny text.
I "aged" everything with Vintage Photo distress ink and added splash of ink and gesso to finish this card.
I will spend the summer in France too. Maybe I will let you have a glimpse of the scrap products we can find there... maybe even a project "made in France" !
Thank you for stopping by, and have a great day !
P.S. : find here after affiliate links to some of the products I used :
Merci encore pour ta sublime carte ! Tu vas me manquer mais on se reverra en France ou ailleurs. Bisous 😘
