Lavender and gold mixed media layout

Hello !

I wanted to show you a new layout before leaving for a scrap cruise tomorrow... Yes, such thing does exist, isn't it wonderful ? Anyway, here is my layout :

It took a while to create it, as you can see there's a lot of embellishents... and I wanted them to match in colors, so I had to re-color everything !
First I used a sheet from the Vintage Emporium paper pad (Prima) and applied Spiced Marmalade distress ink over a frame mask (Prima) in the center. Then I applied crackle paste over the Lattice stencil (Prima).

To highlight the crackles, I applied Sparks paint in Ginger Magic and Iris potion mixed with water (Finnabair Prima) with a brush on and around the crackles. Once dried, I started to add layers of embellishments !

You can found metal (as the Prima Mechanicals Trinkets leaves or flowers), chipboard (flourishes by Umwow Studio), fabric (flower Grand Dame Jubilee by Prima), paper flower (Traveler's Journal by Prima or small roses), acrylic pearls (Doodlebug Design), die cuts (wildflowers by Tim Holtz) and paper clay with moulds.

Before adhering everything, I covered most of them with white gesso before painting them with the Sparks paints. I added some Marmalade to the clay frame before painting.

I forgot : I also add laces and paper doilies to this layout ! That's a lot of embellishments ! But it was really fun to add all of these alyers !

I will enter this scrapbook page in the More Than Words Challenge. This month you have to use the word Memories (in my title) and use frames (I got this cover too...). Here is their challenge's picture :

See you soon for another project. I will maybe post few things from the cruise on Instagram, you can follow me there : Bonjourscrap
Have a great week end !
