Hello !

Almost the end of my 30 cards before Christmas ! Time to show you the card matching the snowy house one, made with the other half of DCWV paper...

I saw few cards on Pinterest with a cute stamp looking like this car. And as I didn't have it, I found that the car that I cut out from the papers was pretty close.

Speaking of Pinterest, did you ever visit my Pinterest page ? Beside my own cards, I pinned a lot of others to inspire me and other people. Don't hesite to follow me...

White Christmas card

Hello there !

I did saw some card on Pinterest, white on white, with a tree and only few red cardinals. I didn't have any cardinal punch or tiny sticker, but I found silver glitter dots on my stash that fit well on this card :

Background is white cardstock embossed with a Impressabilities snowflakes thin by Spellbinders.
The tree is a die cut by Little B. Stamp by Spellbinders too, with silver embossing powder. Don't ask for the glitter dots, it's been too long...

I think it's one of my husband favorite. Is it yours too ?

As usual this month, I will see you tomorrow for another card. Thank you for your time and have a wonderful day !

Distress oxide Christmas card

Hello !

Time for a more artsy Christmas card ! It looks like an ATC, but it is the size of a card !

On white cardstock, I applied first distress ink in Fired Brick and Peeled paint with a little bit of Walnut Stain on the edges. I spray gently some water to reveal the oxide effect.
Then I stamped (Recollections) in brown ink before applying distress Walnut Stain over a poinsettia stencil (Dreamweaver). I outlined the poinsettia with a fine black pen, and drawn a line around the edges of the card. Sprayed some more water and I was done !

Love, love the result !

Thank you for stopping by today. Only few more days for me at showing Christmas cards and for you to enter my 30 cards before Christmas giveaway...

See you tomorrow ? Have a great day !

IOD Christmas tree

Well, this is a Christmas related post, but surely far from a card... That's a nice distraction...
I love playing with clay and mould these days (see my other recent posts), and I wanted to make some decorations for my new home (moved in August in Houston...), so I decided to make a small Christmas tree...

The base is a paper mache cone. I made paper clay embellishments with the IOD mould Large Fleurish that I glued on the cone with gel medium, as long as buttons, stones, and string of beads, before covering it with heavy white gesso.

Once dried, I use both my finger and a small paint brush to apply Finnabair Opal Magic waxes in Green Brocade and Blue Velvet. In fact, I even heat it a little bit with a gun to melt the wax and have a smoother effect.

Really have to find a bigger cone to make a real size tree for next year ! Good luck with that...

Thank you for stopping by today. I hope I did inspire you a little to create your own project.
See you tomorrow for another Christmas card !

Green and pink Christmas card

Of course pink and green are Christmas colors, aren't they ? Any color in fact can be use for Christmas...

I started with white cardstock and some Art Anthology products. The background paper is created with Cameo Sorbet, Cotton Candy Velvet and Twilight stencil.
The front paper is made with Sea Foam Velvet and Lotus stencil, Cotton Candy Velvet and Blocked stencil, with a layer of Frost Sorbet over it.

I cut the snowflakes out of white cardstock paint with Cameo Sorbet, and the leaves from cardstock painted with Seam Foam. The central wood embellishment was covered with white gesso before getting paint with Cameo Sorbet.

I added laces in cream and light rose and flowers, with extra touches of Cameo Sorbet. You can recognize the flowers I create with punches (the one I made a video about not long ago...) for a mixed media Christmas card for Art Anthology.

Finally, the sentiment is made out of clay with an alpha mould by Martha Stewart, painted with Sea Foam.

Hope you like it. Aren't you curious to discover the next card ? They are all so different !
See ya then !

Snowy house Christmas card

Hi there !

Yep, it's another card using DCWV papers !

This time, the papers came from the All About Christmas pad (huge one 180 sheets... that why I still have some...). In fact, I cut the design paper in half to make this project, and you will see soon what I have done with the other half...
Beside matting the central paper in red and green, I cut out the sentiment wreath to add it on my card. Simple but charming card, don't you think ?

You will see another card tomorrow (see this post for my giveaway). Have a wonderful day...

Watercolor and gold Christmas card

Hello there !

I did play with my Prima metallic watercolors to create the background of today's card :

I stamped first snowflakes  with embossing clear ink, then applied gold embossing powder before painting with the watercolors in blue and purple.

I used a Sizzix die for the sentiment, cut in glitter gold paper and in white cardstock.
The card's mat is a gold Mercury paper by DCWV.

Happy Holidays card

Hello !

Yesterday, I showed you a card made with my new Craft smith paper pad. Today I give you a card made with the Ice Crystal pad (the same I used for my wood box) :

The trees and the stamp came from the same set Christmas tree by Hampton Art. This set comes with 3 different stamps for the tree, but as my papers had already a design, I didn't used them.
The trees are on foam adhesives to create dimension to the card.

If you came for the first time on my blog, please be aware that a giveaway is now running here. You just to comment on my Christmas and follow my blog to enter this giveaway. Check my first post about it for rules and picture of the prize !

Thank you for your time, I wish you a very good day, and see you tomorrow...

Merry Little Winter card

I've been a bad girl... Once again I couldn't resist a good deal and I bought another Christmas paper pad... Shame on me for being this weak ! But hey ! I used it right away on a card !

It's a paper only card, from the pad by Craft Smith. The deal was unbeatable (and irresistible): $4.60 instead of $19.99. Love my coupons ! Really like the design of this paper pad too. You will see at least another card from it.

What do you think of this one ? Let me know in the comment section, and if you're a follower, you will enter my giveaway to win a fantastic prize !

Have a great day and see you tomorrow for another Christmas card...

Plaid deer Christmas card

Another day, another card...

Back to CAS for a white card as a base, and some DCWV papers with Little B dies...

The sentiment was hand cut from one of the sheet of the Christmas Plaid stack by DCWV, and the dies were cut with the Christmas Holidays set by Little B. Two small snowflakes came from a small punch.

Having a white background is not my usual, I'm still thinking something is missing ! Well, I will get back to myself tomorrow ! But if you like this card, please let me know !

Tim Holtz style Christmas card

Hello there !

I found some Alterations Christmas embossing folder not long ago at Tuesday Morning, with Tim's Found relatives cards, and it was about time to use it ! Here is what I created :

I cut scrap of papers to match the pattern of the folder, and used the Letterpress technique to create the background. If you don't know this technique, it's super simple. You ink your embossing folder on the front side (just the raised design) before running it with the paper in your machine (I used my Big Shot for that). The ink I used there was of course the Walnut Stain distress ink...

Yuo know my love for fussy cutting, and that's what I did with one of the relatives card... A wooden sentiment distressed with ink and the card was done... I wish my sewing machine was out of its box, I would have added some stitches between the different papers.

Thank you for stopping by today. Please let me know what you are thinking of my cards so far. Each card's comment will earn you an entry in my giveaway...

Have a great day !

Rita Barakat's fairy for a Christmas card

Well... I'm up with some creativity today, inspired by my friend Rita Barakat and her stickers. Can you spot the one I used ?

This sticker is a journaling tape decorated with one of her fairies. I draw around the sticker to create a wider decor on my card, and paint all with watercolors.

Papers used on this card are from the October Afternoon kit I used before, and sentiment is written with black epoxy alphas by Sticko.

I hope you like this one of a kind Christmas card ! I'm so glad you stopped by today ! May I have the pleasure to see you tomorrow too ?

Don't forget about the giveaway (comment and follow to enter) and have a great day...

Prima doll Christmas card

Long time I didn't play with my (Prima) dolls ! It was about time to used this Christmas one !

A lot of layers and Prima products... Fairy Belle papers, moulds, paper clay, flowers, die, chalks, doll stamp,...
Soft colors are nice for Christmas too if you add a little gold and glitter...

I added some watered white gesso over the Art stones and microbeads and when dried some gold ink. I used the gold to stamp the sentiment and color parts of the dress.

I does have a shabby chic, doesn't it ? I think it's pretty as a jewel !

This is my 12th Christmas card. Can you believe we are almost half way of the 30 ? Did you like all, none or just some of my cards so far ? Don't hesitate to tell, your comment will earn you an entry to my giveaway if you are a follower...

Rendez-vous tomorrow for another Christmas card. Have a wonderful day waiting for our date...
