Gorjuss Valentine's day card 2

Hello again !

Did you have a great week end watching all the new goodies from Creativation ? Can't wait to have my hands on some...

Back to reality now, with my new Valentine's day card :

Again a Gorjuss stamp (Dear Apple) with Ranger Jet Black ink. I'm using dye ink because it doesn't smear when I'm coloring with Copic Sketch markers.

Paper came from the Garden Charm stack by DCWV, old lace and rub-on for the sentiment.

18th birthday card with Gorjuss stamp

Hi there !

Mother's day was not the highlight of my week end... Saturday, my baby turned 18 ! I swear, I just turned back for a moment, how is it possible ? Anyway, I had to create a card for the occasion, of course...
I choose one of my Gorjuss girl stamp for it and the nice Ooh La La paper pad by Craft Smith :

I use few dies (stitched circle and globe) and my Brother Scan-n-cut (yes, I bought one ! Finally...) to cut the "Eighteenth", but cut the girl by hand (after stamping with my stamping platform...).
 It was nice to go back to Copics (look there for the colors used) and spend hours to color this sweet girl !

Gorjuss Valentine's card

Hello there !

It's been a long time since I played with my Gorjuss stamps and my markers... So I just pulled out one and made a card with it :

So I colored the Gorjuss stamp The Hatter with my Copic Sketch markers before cutting the stamp out. I found in my stash some old paper from DCWV and Webster's pages matching perfectly the colors I choose.

The frame and the sentiment were cut with the Cricut machine and the Home Decorations solutions cartridge.

Are you working on Valentine's cards too ? I think I will make a couple more before it arrived...

Gorjuss girl 16th birthday card

Hello !

Yesterday was the 16th birthday of my oldest daughter (!) and I had to create a card for her, as I did last year...

I choose a Gorjuss girl stamp (The Gateway, DoCrafts), she looks so cute and fierce at the same time !

For the cuteness, I also choose the Meet me in Paris paper stack by DCWV, it's a perfect match with the powdered pink and the vintage map of Paris.

The girl and the horse were colored with Copic markers. Do you know how I create the horse's hairs ? With gray N0 and N2 and yellow (Y00) !

Now why the ride ? Because in France she can now drive. But I prefer the sweet (and safe) ride behind her... Ok, I'm the only one smiling at this joke...

Cute & Clever - a Gorjuss and DCWV card

Good Monday !

I have a card to share with you today, using the Watercolor stack and black cardstock by DCWV, a Gorjuss stamp, and my Copic markers...

The cloud was attached to the girl on the stamp, but I wanted several of it, so I just stamp only the cloud  twice. The one attached to the girl was cut to be placed somewhere else. The little black and white bow is part of the stamp set too.

I did bought quite a few of these cute girl's stamp, and I love coloring them. Already saw one of these on a birthday card, and soon, another with apples for a thank you card...

Gorjuss Birthday card

Today my lovely daughter is 15 ! The least I could do was to create a card for her...

So I pulled out an old but cherished paper pad by K&Company, a beautiful Gorjuss stamp and my Copic markers to wish her an happy birthday...

I also made a killer vanilla cheesecake with a ginger cookies crust, and I will give you the recipe if I have enough comments asking for it on this post !

Gorjuss canvas

On Monday night, I have finished my last project and my desk was clean. And I felt a little weird. Usually, there is always two or three projects I need to work on, and my desk is never clean.
For few second the next day, I thought I will start my ribbon organization (cutting spool chipboards and transfer every ribbon I got, then organize them by color...). but nah ! Instead I grab my new stamp set and play with it...
On the same day, I found some cute mini canvas (3x3"), and they were perfect for a quick project.

I felt in love with this Gorjuss stamp set when I first saw it in store and couldn't leave without buying it. It's very unusual for me. I always think three or four times before buying anything. I did check the other stamp set and now I want more, but for those I will overthink...

So first I stamped this little cute girl on white paper and colored her with my Copic markers before cutting the stamp. I did covered one canvas with pink and purple distress ink (Holtz), then stamped a Prima Marketing design in purple (Fairy Belle collection). I distressed the mini roses (Prima Marketing) with purple. I stamped the leaves on a green paper (Woodware with Memento black ink).

The border came with the set, so I stamped and colored it before using it around the frame. It's really cute. I have absolutely no idea of what I will do with that. But I want to make another one...

Go do some craft now...

Almost a year !

Hello at least !

 It has been almost a year since my last post, and I'm so sorry I didn't write during this time...

Last year, we made a tough decision to go back to France, me and my daughter first, for educational purpose, so I left all my scrapbook stuff behind me. I packed everything, and at the end of the year my husband was able to join us, so our house was moved from Houston to the South of France with a late arrival end of January...

Since then I didn't have much to organize my scraproom, as I had a whole house to fit in an already furnished house, even now I just have a corner on my desk to create. But for the birthday of my oldest daughter, I wanted to create a card, so I reached out for some papers, stamp and Copics, and here is the result !

Papers are Recollections brand, stamp is a Gorjuss girl by DoCrafts, and markers are Copics. The design is not very intricate, I had to keep it simple because most of my stuff are still in boxes and my desk is cramped... Take a look :

I have now more time to organize all this (between my teenager daughter, husband, two dogs, and my psychologist/hypnotizer activities...), so I will soon (I hope) post new projects on this blog !

We are Bruxelles too...

This morning, I was about to show you an art journal page, but by the time I opened my computer, I read the terrible news. Bruxelles was hit. Twice. I don't have word for that, only tears. Again.
So instead of the page, I will share what I've done today...

The background is a Color and Create paper by DCWV, the stamp is a Gorjuss girl (Docraft). I colored with Copic Sketch markers.

Sympathy and love to my Belgian friends and to all of those who suffer from this awful strike.
