Mixed Media Altered Bottle with Tattered Angels

Hello crafters !

While explaining what mixed media could be to my sister-in-law, I took the example of a bottle of champagne (we did have a celebration this day...) to talk about the process of altering it, and with one more glass of this champagne, I did promise to create one for her living room... And this beauty is now at her home !

Some close-ups :

The great thing about mixed media is that you can finally use long forgotten embellishments what ever color they are ! You will see in the video (yes I made a video tutorial...you will find the link at the bottom of this post), that the flowers are in different kind of colors : orange, silver, white... And I didn't need Gesso at all for this project !

The microbeads are in fact originally used for home decor, so don't forget to check all the craft store's aisles, you never know what you will find for your next project...
