100,000 pageviews GIVEAWAY !

I would never imagine when I started this blog few years ago that one day I will reach this huge milestone : 100,000 pageviews ! It sounds like an incredible number and I am so thankful for each one of you who read my blog once or several times !

Altered clipboard with Art Anthology

Hi there !

If you are following my blog, you know that I'm moving from France to Texas, and that I didn't received my craft materials yet... On the top of that, I moved to Houston where Harvey was just in time to try to stop me from creating... Well, despite those little things, I decided to go on with my volunteering at CKC event in Houston on Friday, where I had the pleasure to meet the lovely Stayce and Lorrie who let me play with the Art Anthology goodies !

So I grabbed a plain clipboard, somme gesso and a black paint, borrow stencils, mediums, stamp and paper towel (!) from the booth and create this :

August Make-it Prima layout

Hello !

Texas heat did not kill me yet, even if you didn't read a lot from me recently... I'm still waiting for my scrapbook stuff to arrive from France, and had nothing to play with. As I wanted to play with the August (maybe the last ?) mood board from the Prima Marketing blog, I bought some papers, flowers and moulds to have fun... This is the result :


I had to be very creative for this one I haven't any of my tools... Fussy cutting is my go-to technique for this kind of situation ! And as you can see, I had a blast with the roses !


I brushes few strokes of the yellow metallic semi-watercolor (Prima) on the background paper (Rose Quartz collection, Prima).
Then I prepared few medallions with moulds and paper clay (Prima). Once dried, the medallions were painted with the white metallic and I added some doodles followinf the shapes of the medallions with a black pen. Crystal are the perfect touch to them to match the picture.


As I didn't have my doilie die cut, I just painted two papers doilies with metallic black and pink. I found some beautiful black lace and added it under the cluster made with the altered medallions, painted doilies, cutted roses and flowers with a touch of yellow metallic.


I found the perfect sticker for the title in a sheet of Mambi Sticks.

Steampunk girl canvas with Art Anthology

Hello !

It's been a while since the last time I blogged ! Do you know why ? I moved from France to Texas again ! So I did need so time to move all my craft stuff and I did not received them yet... But I was able to create something for the Art Anthology blog before my departure...

Create quick party invites with Art Anthology

Hello !

Back on the Art Anthology blog today for a pool party project... Invitation cards ! Don't say you give up on summer parties ! I'm sure these invite can be handy... and they are super quick to made...


You will need white cardstock (try the Core'dinations one) and white 4x6 cards (or create cards with white cardstock), a Sizzix die and the Twilight stencil (Art Anthology), Minx in Enchanting, Bankroll, Panache and Majestic over gel medium. The sentiment and the edges of the card are painted in Mayan Gold Velvet.

Bastille's day layout for the July Prima challenge

Hello !

Prima moodboard is filled this month with blue, red and brown colors and combined with the French event in July, it inspired me a new layout about Bastille day for the Make it Prima challenge :


Soooo... On a Vintage Emporium paper, I use a damask stencil with white light gesso and sprikled microbeads in copper and berry over it ( all of these are Prima products). Then I painted the French flag with watercolor.


I added a Say-it-in-Crystal lace border under the picture, painted Prima flowers with watercolor to recreate the tricolor French roundel. The beaded trim was painted with copper paint (still all Prima).


Some vintage metal numbers for the date and the vintage clock die cut under the picture...


The title is the starting words of the French national anthem, made with rub-on letters and rub-on decorations (Prima IOD).

If you didn't know Bastille day is today ! Music, firemen's ball and fireworks are traditional, and as I currently live in Avignon, I will benefit from the theatre festival...

Mixed media layout about a girl...

Hello !

I'm on the Art Anthology blog today with a new layout about my daughter, using stencils, mediums, die cuts, inks, laces, flowers... So it's a mixed media page...


 Dot Matrix with Leaf Sorbet Dimensional medium and 6×9 Scales with Mayan Gold Velvet were used to build the background, as well as some stamps (Prima Marketing) and distress inks in walnut stain and  mowed lawn (Ranger).
You can also spot some wildflower dies (Sizzix/Tim Holtz) among other things... Here are some of the products I used beside Art Anthology ones :



A video tutorial is available on the Art Anthology's post or on my YouTube channel to watch the whole process.

I think this layout will be a perfect fit for the Simon Says Sstamp Monday challenge : distress it !
