Dream the impossible : An art journal spread

Hello there !

I'm back with another journal spread for the Art anthology blog, using the Hexi stencil stack as focal point on my pages :

I started with the medium Hexi and Glorious Colorations spray, followed by the hollowed Hexi and Tango Velvet, and then the larger Hexi with Dazzle Clear Coat.

Once each coat was dried, I added some Waimea Bay Colorations spray and wipe the excess from the Hexi pattern.

I played also with a graphic stamp to add some dimension to my pages, from the Geometric stamp set by BoBunny and added black distress ink to the edges.

Title is made with a die cut and alpha stickers.

How to decorate a chipboard frame with Art Anthology

Hello !

It's time for another project for the Art Anthology blog ! This time I decorate a chipboard frame using mediums, ink and stencil...

The base is a standing chipboard frame (BoBunny) that I covered with white gesso, then painted with Amber (from the Rust texture set).

Do you remember the flower tutorial I made a while ago ? I create roses with punches, but as you see in this project, you could make petunias too ! Take a look at the previous tutorial to make roses here. You will see how to make the petunias in the video of this frame project at the end of this post.

I use three different colors for the flowers : Azalea Shine, Grape Shine and Dragon Fruit Velvet mediums by Art Anthology.

The pink background was create with Bone Stone Effect medium, the Gothic stencil with gel medium and the Patience Colorations spray. Can you see the rich texture and dimensions this combo create ?

I added only few embellishments to this project beside the flowers : some clay ferns and a wood title, colored with Amber.
