Hi you !
It was about time to create a new ATC ! So I grabbed a fantastic ATC stamp by La Compagnie des Elfes, some inks and stencil by Art Anthology, and get to work !
Beside the stamp, I used the stencil and Colorations sprays by Art anthology, in Glorious and Wild Orchid. The white parts are colored with a white gel pen, and I also added small touches of purple Souffle pen by Sakura. The black flower design is the Kaleidoscope stencil by art Anthology used with a black pen.
The sentiment are from a rolling stamp by Recollections.
Thank for your taking some time to read this post. I have many more project in my sleeve so stay tune in these next days...
Have a wonderful day !
You will find posts about scrapbooking, cardmaking, Mixed media, altered object, tags... anything about papercrafts and so much more.

Mixed media art journal spread : Let the Earth breathe
These past days we have seen a lot of unexpected decisions, and one if not all inspired me for art journal pages. Denying the global will not make it disappear. We are all responsible for polluting the Earth and should all take actions to reduce green house gases emissions (beside a lot of other actions like reduce plastic use, research for green energy vehicles, eliminate harmful fertilizers...the list is long).
Let Mother Earth breathe was my inspiration :
You can recognize the Free Spirit stamp (Prima Marketing) as Gaia aka Mother Earth, stamped with Walnut stain distress ink (Ranger).
Background was built with heavy white gesso (Prima Marketing), and Art Anthology paints in different shades of green : Avocado Colorations spray, Shamrock Velvet dimensional paint, Parakeet Sorbet dimensional paint, Granny Smith colorations spray. I also used distress inks in Mowed Lawn and also Walnut stain (Ranger) for the edges. I used Mini herbarium stencil by TCW and few stamps for the leaves.
Wanna be a responsible crafter ? Here is a simple thing to do : have two trash can in your craft room, one for recycling (or more depending on how your recycling program works) for leftovers, paper wrapping, metal, fibers... and one for the rest. and if not done already, extend it to the whole house...
Thanks you for reading this post today. due to the number of decisions taken these days, you might see other inspired art journal pages soon.
Have a great day !

Mixed Media Place blog January challenge
Hello !
Finally a new layout ! January is kind of weird, everything is slowing down, like everyone is hibernating or something... My creativity is bursting but my body will not follow, and rather like to stay on the couch, under my blanket, cuddling with my dog, and if I had a caramel macchiato in my hand it would be heaven. BUT, I don't have this kind of coffee shop around, AND I have two buzzing teens flying around SO better if I can hide in my scraproom... and if I'm there, why not create ?
That's what I did, so today I can show you a layout, inspired by the Mixed Media Place blog moodboard :
Here is my project :
Colors were my mainly inspiration there, so I started by choosing papers from the Minty Lace stack by DCWV. Then I started building the background with the Art Anthology stencil bubbles and a black Faber-Castell pen, painting the circles with a small brush and Bankroll Minx (Art Anthology).
I added a layer with Black leather jacket Sorbet paint (AA) and the mini tile texture stencil (TCW), and once dry, I added stroke of Warm Colorations ink (AA).
Layers of papers, few feathers cut with X-Cut dies (DoCraft), an air dry clay painted in the same colors and black glitter chipboard alphas and my layout was done...
Hope you liked what you saw. Thank you for stopping by today, and see you soon for another project...

Altered phone case with DCWV
Hello !
If you have teenagers at home, you know how much they love to change their phone case like every week... Sometimes the previous one is just too plain for them... So what I do (but not with every case, it would be time consuming !) is alter a phonecase to make a new one !
Maybe you saw the tutorial about the mixed media case I made a while ago, or the one I covered with DCWV papers ? Well, I upgraded another case last week (not for my daughters this time, but for a friend), again with DCWV papers but from another stack, the Watercolor stack.

I cut out the flowers and the stripes and glued them over the paper covered phone case with Mod Podge matte (Plaid). I added few extra layers of Mod Podge to seal and protect the case.
Do you like it ? It's peppy and fresh, and it did put a smile on the lucky teenager who received it...
Thank you for stopping by today. I will see you soon for another project...

DCWV tags for CHA / Creativation 2017
Hello !
The craft mega show will start today and I'm so sad to stay in France during this week end ! I did love my last year trip to Anaheim and wish I could be at Creativation next year... But if you look closely in DCWV booth, you will find a wall of tags about "why do I create" or "what me makes a maker ?", and some pieces of me will be there !
I din't have much time to create these tags (if enough time would have been given to me, I would have made enough for the entire wall I think...), so there are only 5.
The one above is made with a Sizzix tag die and a sheet of Color and Create stack (Floral), colored with watercolor. Watercolor is the new thing I've tried last year, even if I'm not a painter, and I quite like it, even if it's impossible for me to get stuck with the pastel look of it. I have to make it brighter...
Another reason to create is to be different (pour etre different). More than be, it's maybe to show I'm different. I think differently, I see the world differently, I feel differently. Everyone does. But not everyone can put this difference into making. Showing my difference in my creations is important to me.
It's again Sizzix die and Color&Create paper, with Sizzix rub-ons for the sentiment (yes Sizzix has rub-ons...). To emphasize the idea of difference, I use only color (Peacock feathers distress ink by Tim Holtz) on the background. the flowers are colored with gray Copic sketch markers (N0, N2, N4, N6).
Again Sizzix die and Color&Create (Pretty prints) and Copic markers...
"Pour rester folle"... meanings "to stay crazy"... Embrace your own craziness is part of the creativity, and, again, of what makes you different. What would have been Dali if he didn't embrace it ? You would have look at boring painting of realistic clocks... So be crazy !
Same stack, same die, different colors... Be crazy tag was all about warm color. This one is about "to not becoming completely crazy" (or to stay sane), and I choose more calming, cool colors for it.
While embracing your inner craziness, you also have to stay sane from the world's insanity... 2016 was really full of it, and expressing my feeling into my projects was a good way to not be overwhelmed by sadness (for example an art journal page).

The last one was made with the same die by Sizzix, leftover of the Color&Create paper and a brushes stamp by Stampendous. Quote says :"To have"... brushes ! Yes part of the pleasure to create things is to have new toys to play with ! Don't say it's not true ! We all love have new art supplies...
OK ! That's it for today ! As I will not see this great wall of tags by myself, please try to spot my tags if you're there... Better : share it with me on Instagram with #walloftagsCHA2017 ! And if you made one of this tags, share it too !
If you are in Phoenix, have fun ! If not, have fun too !
Thank you for stopping by, can't wait to see your pictures on Instagram...
Have a great day and see you tomorrow for an incredible steampunk project...

January More than words challenge layout
Hello !
I'm back with a new layout for the More Than Words challenge, using a picture I took few years ago in Istanbul in the beautiful Hagia Sophia (basilica Sainte Sophie), trying to recreate the abundance of luxurious golds and magnificent blues of this incredible mosaic.
The creative challenge was bling. I think I got this part...
The word inspiration was celebrate. The whole basilica is a celebration to God, and this mosaic in particular is celebrating Mary and His Son.
This is how this challenge inspired me...
I created the background with a paper from the Royal Gypsy stack (DCWV), using heavy gesso over a stencil (Prima Marketing), then another stencil with gold crackle paste (Prima Marketing).
I painted in dark blue some fabric, then teared it and glued it over the gesso. I added lace and blue pompom trim (May Arts ribbons) before adding the embellishments.
The photo mats are papers from the same DCWV stack, the edges are distressed and paint with gold crackle. The some of the gold embellishments are home made with air dry clay and painted.
Some are metal covered with gesso than painted.
This medallion is two metal embellishments glued together, covered with gesso and painted.
It's an almost an icon around the picture of an icon I made there ! I hope you like it...
Here is the moodboard if you want to play too...
Thank for reading this post. I hope to see you soon for another project...

There are two challenges a week on the Simon Says Stamp blog ? Here we go for the Monday challenge ! The requirement is : "Be square", so I went for the easy I made a square Valentine's card...
The cardstock are made by DCWV, as well as the heart, who came from a Color&Create stack and was colored with Copic markers.
The circles were cut with the Martha Stewart circle cutter, and the alpha stickers are MAMBI ones.
Did you start your Valentine's already ? You still have a month to do so, but beware of the flying time...
As we are Wednesday, a new challenge will pop on the Simon Says Stamp blog, so I maybe will create something for tomorrow... see you then and have a great day !

Simon says stamp Wednesday challenge
Hello !
OK, I'm done resting now (even if my doctor, my husband and my back say otherwise...) ! It's time to create again !
What better than a challenge to motivate a crafter ? So I took the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday challenge ("new something") and create a card. For the "new" part, I use the Bandana bits clear stamps by Joy Clair. Not really new in my stash (I bought it at CHA last year), but I never used it and was still in package, so kinda new to me, no ?
I didn't use markers or crayons to color these stamps but watercolor !
I use papers by DCWV (red from Old World stack), and if you look closely, you can see that the blue one is in fact denim !
It's a vivid and joyful card I made here ! Perfect just to say hello to friend...
Thank you for stopping by today. Hope to see you soon for another project.
Have a perfect day !

DCWV January challenge card
Hello !
Did you send New Year's cards ? Did you made them ? I'm not really good at sending these cards, can you believe it ? I make them anyway !
Today's card was create with the January sketch from the DCWV blog :
and some beautiful DCWV papers with Sizzix Alterations die (mixed media thinlits) and Cricut die cuts (snowflakes with Winter Lace and title with Stretch your Imagination).
You can recognize the Foiled embossed copper paper that I already used in few projects and papers from the Copper blue stack.
I spiced up a little the difficulty by using the left over dies of the white/blue paper to re-create the same kind of pattern than in the upper left corner.
Thank you for stopping by. See you tomorrow for a mixed media project...
Have a GREAT day !

DCWV January challenge layout
Happy New Year to all !
December went so fast I didn't scrap a lot of pages... So the DCWV January sketch was a good reason to get back at scrapbooking with a Christmas layout. Here is the sketch :
The picture is so not from last month ! Look at my cuttie pie, she's almost my size now !
I used only papers for this layout, from the All about Christmas stack by DCWV, except for the bottom tag (Holidays letter stack). The poinsettias and the tags were cut out from different sheet to be placed on the page.
You could use the sketch to enter the monthly challenge on the DCWV blog, there's a prize to win !
I hope you had a good start at 2017, I wish you a fantastic year to come !
Have a great day and see you soon...
