Why oh why am I using DCWV products lately and how on earth did I get sponsored by them ? Can you guess ? If you are a DCWV blog follower or if you're one of my friend on Facebook, you already know. If not, I'm breaking the BIG news : I'm a Guest Designer for DCWV ! And I'm over the moon ! Did you see my blinkie on the right ?
So let me present you another tag made with DCWV products :
I used a black paper from the Chalkboard stack, a red glittered paper from the Christmas and Winter stack, a paper from the Candy Cane Lane stack, all of it by DCWV.
I stamped the black cardstock with a clear pad and add Antiquities weathered white embossing powder by Ranger. The stamp are snowflakes clear stamps by Inkadinkado, and add a little bow I found at Michaels in the miniature Christmas tree aisle.
I fussy cut the let it snow ribbon and mat it with the red glitter paper, then adhere it with foam adhesive.
I hope you like it and you will come back tomorrow for another tag, vintage this time...
You will find posts about scrapbooking, cardmaking, Mixed media, altered object, tags... anything about papercrafts and so much more.

Candy cane anyone ?
Candy cane lane is the name of this beautiful collection by DCWV I used for this next tag :
Tags inside a tag... The only add to the Candy Cane Lane papers are the twines by Maya Road. The red bow is made from the same red paper matting the big tag, with a little touch of Vintage distress ink by Tim Holtz.
Once again, I did not resist to fussy cut. This time, it's the red sentiment, mounted on foam dots to add another dimension to the project.
If you liked the knitted background of my picture, it's a sheet from the Winter stack.
See you tomorrow for another tag !

DCWV Christmas tag
Hello !
I made a new tag, very different for the first tags I have shown these 3 past days. This one is made with the Winter Collection (stack and tag stack) by DCWV :
Love the colors, unusual choice for Christmas but so cute !
You know me, I do love fussy cutting, so I cut the designs of small tags (Noel, pinecones and deers) to decorate this tag, along with a Maya Road twine and ribbon from Michaels.
I now, the title seems maybe a little strange for you, but it reflects me perfectly : into the U.S. way of celebrating Christmas but still French... You cannot live almost 10 years in Texas without having the U.S. holidays sinking into your bones...
That makes my 4th day and tag of my giveaway. Don't forget to comment and follow for a chance to win !
Don't spend too much today, and see you tomorrow !

3rd tag : stocking...
First, Happy Thanksgiving ! I want to thank you all for taking interest in my projects. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't have a blog and try so many different crafts. You're my blessing.
That said, let's get back to my 30 tags...
Are you a hoarder ? I am. That's why you can see a lot of older products in my work. I have to use them now ! So you see the same Recollections paper than last year for my Christmas card in this tag.
I also used a silver mesh founded at Michaels, Prima Marketing poinsettias, a Making Memories journaling tag and silver Liquid Pearls. And the Heritage cartridge with my Cricut Expression.
Don't forget to follow me and comment for a chance to win a prize at the end of the 30 days of tags...
Tomorrow's tag will be a lot different, in shape and colors...
See you then !

The first of my Christmas tag
Hello everyone !
I'm back at my desk after 10 days of intense shopping in Houston, Tx, and I'm very late in my scrapbook work...
Luckily, I did have three tags ready for my giveaway, waiting from last year to be seen. In fact they're matching few of the cards I made for Christmas !
Let me do a quick reminder of how things gonna work this time. I will show you a tag each day during 30 days before Christmas, starting today.
Two prizes are to be won after these 30 days, both sponsored by DCWV and myself (I added the stamps) :
First prize : DCVW gems stickers, DCVW Storybook Christmas tag stack, 2 wrinkle-free glue stick by Scotch, 2 packs of doodles buttons by Crafting With Buttons, 4 DCVW cards and envelopes, Prima Marketing acrylic stamp
Second prize : a sampler of cards by DCVW, Winter tag stack by DCVW, a whole bunch of buttons, and Prima Marketing acrylic stamp
Enough with the rules, just let the creativity juice flow and take a look at the first tag !
This tag was made with Recollections papers, Prima Marketing flowers and leaves, white half-pearls, alpha stickers covered with red glitter, and silver Liquid Pearls. I cut the tag with my Cricut Expression and the Heritage cartridge. I'm particularly proud of this tag, because it was published in Cricut Holidays (October 13). I think it's a great match for this card and this one.
That's it for the first day of my 30 tags before Christmas giveaway ! I hope you like the first tag and the idea of this giveaway, and I hope to see you several time before Christmas !

Do you remember my last Christmas giveaway? I made 30 cards, one for each day before Christmas, and you had to vote for your favorite, with a chance to win a great prize at the end ?

To enter for the first drawing, you must be a follower of my blog (Google+, Googlefriends, Bloglovin or by email), and comment at least one time during the challenge. I will randomly choose a winner for the 1st prize.
To enter the second drawing, you must be a follower of my blog, and vote for your favorite tag. The winner will be choose randomly too.
This personal challenge of mine will start on Tuesday, 25th of November. You will have until the 25th of December to follow and comment in order to be eligible for the 1st prize.
Once all the tags will be posted, you will be able to vote for your favorite between the 12/25/14 and the 01/02/15. Winner of the 2nd prize will be announced on the 01/03/15.
You will have more details on the prizes on the 25th of this month, but here is a clue... it will be sponsored by a great brand, beginning with a D, four letters in total, ending in V. Can you guess ? (come on it's easy...)
See you very soon !

Color-Me-Scrappy challenge #74
Another beautiful colorboard for this new challenge with Color-Me-Scrappy !
I did go a little over the challenge by adding few more of my favorite colors... pink and orange !
This beautiful paper is made by S.E.I. and I add two stickers by Bo Bunny for title and date. The journaling is vertical on the right side, written with a black Faber-Castell pen.
I did the twist of the challenge ! White leaves from the paper !
Try this colorboard and upload your project by the end of the month to have a chance to win a great prize !

Masking technique with stamp
Hello everyone !
Here is my inspiration post for the Feeling Sketchy Blog : I will show you how I reduced the size of the stamp on of my card from last month challenge :
I did reduce the size because this stamp (MME, Miss Caroline collection) did not fit the tag, so I used the masking technique to do so. See the difference :
First, ink the center of the stamp :
Use two pieces of paper for the masking :
Stamp your image with the papers masking the side :
Now you have your image without side...
Ink the left side of the stamp :
Use a piece a paper to mask the stamped image and stamp the left side, with the already stamped image as point of reference :
Tada ! You have an image with a left side !
Ink the right side :
And stamp as the other side but on the right side this time :
Tada again ! You have your stamp at a smaller size !
I hope this post gave you a lot of idea to resize your stamps !
See you soon...

Feeling Sketchy layout challenge #107
What about some flowers to forget about all these falling leaves ?
Today is reveal of the new layout sketch at Feeling Sketchy, and here is my layout :
Materials :
Abrianna collection papers by K&Company, I Am roses flowers and leaves, Webster's Pages alpha stickers
This paper is very loaded, so I didn't feel like adding embellishments or texture on it. Just 2 flowers and few leaves seems enough to me.
Compare to the sketch :
Molossi - $30 chipboard and bling package

November Scrap Lifting challenge : Koscova
Another wonderful challenge with the Scrap Lifting blog ! Come play with this lift, there is a prize to be won...
The layout to lift was created by Koscova (sorry blog in russian, but pretty pictures)When I saw the layout, I immediately thought of one embellishment I bought a long time ago at Michaels. It is in fact a coaster, but I have always thinking of it as a scrap thing ! It's the pink felt flower.
Here is what I used :
SEI paper, Martha Stewart clay and mold, Tattered Angels glimmer mist, Gesso, Stampabilities stamp, Colorbox pink ink, Doddlebug Design doilie, TPC Studio button, plus some fabric, pink thread and a pearl thing (I don't really know what it is, but bought anyway).
Some close-ups...
That make another layout for my Istanbul album !
Come and take a look at the other creations of the DT and try to win a prize by uploading yours !
Color-Me-scrappy challenge #73
We have huge colorboard this month on the CMS blog with 10 colors on it ! But don't be afraid, most of them are shade of one. Take a look :
For the grey part, I used a Prima stencil with Shimmerz silver paint undelined with black pen, plus washi tapes. For orange/red, I colored washi tapes and papers with pens.
And of course, flowers to match my bouquet.
Here is the list of materials I used :
Recollections papers,
stamp and stencil by Prima Marketing
vintage photo distress ink by Tim holtz,
Mister Huey's sunshine mist,
Recollections and Tim Holtz washi tapes,
Copic markers,
Webster's Pages alpha stickers,
Dazzlerz Foiled again Shimmerz paint,
Faber-Castell black fine pen,
flowers and leaves by I Am Roses.
A word on the picture : it was me on my wedding day, with my more-than-soon-to-be husband and my very newborn daughter (7 days old). That is for the twist of the challenge : something you are thankful for...
Take a look at the DT layouts for more inspiration on the CMS blog and give a try to this fun challenge !
It seems scary at first sight, but if you group them, you are left with yellow/orange, shade of grey/black and brownish colors.
So I did picked the yellow and worked my background around its shades. So we have yellow for the background with brown ink on the edges, orange-like stamped cross, and splits of dark yellow :

Dia de los Muertos home decor
Hi everyone !
Even if I'm in Europe, I was very inspired by the Dia de los Muertos face painting this year, enough to create a project. I use the cling stamp Free Spirit by Prima Marketing, Copic markers, K&Company paper and a Faber-Castell black pen.

Very different from the original look of the stamp !
In France, it's a day to remember the day and to bring flowers to the deads. It seems appropriate for me to create this with the flowers in her hair...
Wish you a good day filled with joyful memories of your missing ones.
