Hello everyone !
I'm back on line from U.K. now. I arrived few days ago after the most stressful travel I ever done. Let me explain this. Our plane tickets for the whole family were booked by a travel agency (company policies), dog included. So I packed my things, closed my French house and took a cab with my kids and my dog to Marseille. So far so good. With minor difficulties to check in, we all flied to Amsterdam and spent the night there. But during the check-in process the day after, it appears that the dog cannot be on our flight to Aberdeen !
Can you imagine I had to prepare paperworks and to plan pick-up in the two hours before the flight ? With no working cell phone or computer and printer ? My heart was full of sadness and my head about to explode, but I did. And we were able to take our flight at the last minute. And when I say last minute, I mean the boarding doors were close and they re-opened them for us.
But the story won't finish there. After landing, getting the appartement keys, and finding the most comfortable couch in the room, I did grab a phone and my computer to verify that my dog will be with us the next. Not an easy part, because even with cargo, dogs cannot flight directly to Aberdeen. So after hours of thinking, we decide that the dog will take the flight to Edinburgh and will drive there to pick him up.
Did I tell you I never drove on the other side of the road ? But I did, for 2x3 hours. And now we are a complete family again. I cursed all the people who are responsible for not telling me that my dog cannot travel with us (travel agency, Marseille airport employees, flying company Customer services...).
So, if you plan to travel with animals to U.K., be aware that in no case animals can travel to U.K. other than cargo, an there only few entries point for them. Be sure you have all paperworks done before traveling, and keep a copy of enverything with you (I did, god for me because the cargo company forgot to attach one with the dog). If one paper is missing, your animal will be put in hold until you can provide it, or if a vaccination is not current, he will be send back.
Ok. That is the past now. I will enjoy the Aberdeenshire as soon as my kids will go to school (next Wednesday). And I will get back to scrapbooking as soon as my air shipment will arrive...
Have a wonderful day yourself !
You will find posts about scrapbooking, cardmaking, Mixed media, altered object, tags... anything about papercrafts and so much more.

An girly and classy air freshener plus moving news...
Hi everyone !
I'm back in Houston but not for back-to-school préparations, but to pack for moving. My family and I are going to live in Aberdeen in one week !
We received the news mid-June while I was already in vacations with kids, and we still haven't a moving date. But I have my plane tickets and school start first week of September there. So I'm packing, and I did start with my scraproom. I got the idea of scrap shopping a lot before coming back to Houston, but once I start packing, I just bought adhesives... OMG I HAVE TOO MANY EVERYTHING !
Anyway, I want to take some times today to share with one of my July publication, my airfreshener chandelier !
This project is made with 3 chandeliers from the "Girls makeup party" Cricut cartridge, a pearl ribbon, golden glitter and liquid pearl. I used papers from the Que Sera Sera collection by K&Company. The top is a flower punch (EK Success) and can be remove to reveal a small ball of cotton with lavender essential oil.
It can be use in a room, a closet or in a car. It can make a great small gift for a girl friend.
You can find better pictures of it in the July 2013 Cricut Birthday ideas book.
Now I must return to my packing, I have only two days left before flying to France again, then fly again 4 days later with my kids to Scotland.
AHHHHH ! I'M PANICKING !

A sunday morning with antiques
And what antiques ! It's a whole city !
It was sunny, no Wind and not too hot on Sunday morning, so I decide to take the girls back in time and discover the ancient Roman city of Glanum.
A first Gallic, the city became Roman around 60 B.C. with a complete sewer system, thermal baths, a court, merchand villas and sacred fountain, this archeological site is exceptional.
Can you image we walked on the same street than Roman people ?

A card to be your guest
It's too hot outside, so I put the kids in a dark room with the TV to stay cool, and myself in the kitchen with my scrap-travel-bag. And I create this card, for the Paper Secrets July Challenge ending today ! I hope their design team like my project and welcome me as a guest designer on their website...
I used MME stickers, Recollections paper, one MME roses stamp with Copic markers, and a Recollections lace ribbon.
It took me some times, but it's still too hot to rest on a lounge chair, let's go to the pool !
Happy summer day !

A bussiness card holder can be pretty...
The proof is my project published in the July issue of Cricut Magazine ! A feminine and elegant business card holder with a monogram :
this project was made with one sheet of designer paper by K&Company (Swet nectar collection), with the help of my Cricut Expression and the Cricut Design Studio. I use the Reminiscence and Storybook cartridge to cut the flourish, the ovals and the letters. I add some flower (Recollections) and ribbon (Hobby Lobby), and the paper is distress with pink distress ink by Tim Holtz.
Now I really have to create my business card...

August IAR Challenge
Good morning everyone !
Today I will show you a project I made yesterday as a gift for a friend. It's an altered gift box, and I will enter with this project in the I Am Roses Challenge. I had to use the word "friend" requested and two IAR products (here two different kind of leaves).

As I am still in France (but with an internet connection now YEAH !), I still have few products at hand, so once again I used papers from my packs of We R Memories Keepers and Recollections, a pink ribbon from Hobby Lobby, white inked roses found at the wedding aisle of Michaels, a rubber stamp (My sentiment exactly) and an acrylic stamp from the Miss Caroline collection (MME), Sticko alpha stickers, and of course IAR leaves.
Hope you like it.
