Swirls and pearls layout

Hello !

Time to show you a layout I made a while ago. Picture was taken last year (!) on a South of France beach.

Again a K&Company paper collection, along with Prima Marketing stamps and flowers, Want2Scrap pearls and, of course, distress ink by Tim Holtz. the title was cut with my Cricut.

These stamps and pearls weren't made to fit together, but with the help of my scissors, they did...

See you soon for another project !

A Bella Blvd Fall card

Hi everyone !

We are in Fall now... Yesterday, I cleaned out and stored our above-the-ground pool, and started putting leaves into trash bags. First signs of changing season.

So today is prefect to present you a Fall card I made with the Finally Fall collection (Bella Blvd) :

We will not have pumpkin pickin' here, but I sure will use them to cook delicious soups and oven-bake recipes...

What will you do on your first day of Fall ?

Prima Marketing mini album class

Hello everyone !

I will teach how to create a mini ATC album in November, for those living near Avignon, France.
I created it exclusively with Prima Marketing products, and those will be included in the class fees.

There are only 4 spots left, so be quick to contact L'Atelier des Mistinguettes...

I know most of y'all are to far away to come, but maybe I will see some of you soon !

CMS challenge #70

Hello everyone !

I bet you are already set for fall, and everything is about pumpkins, orange and leaves... Let me show a layout I have made for the CMS challenge #70, where we have to include something meaning Fall. Even if there are brown and orange/red colors in this challenge, I have decided to use blue and grey as the main colors of y layout. Here is the color board :

And this is my layout :

The picture was taken in Brenham, Texas, obviously in the Fall season (see the white pumkins ?), 11 years ago.

You can found MME and Recollections papers, MME stickers, distress ink by Tim Hotlz, scriptures stamp by the Paper Studio, doilies chipboard by Maya Road.

Don't forget : this month you could win a $25 gift certificate for an online store of your choice. So PARTICIPATE !

Feeling Sketchy card sketch 102

Another great sketch for the Feeling Sketchy challenge #102 :

and my take on it :

I psy... a Prima Marketing stencil with Colorbox ink, a Maya Road stamp with Prima pink chalk and Colorbox turquoise ink, Recollections papers, and gold Liquid Pearls ! I cannot hold my passion for fussy cutting too long. So you can see it with the flowers, large AND small.

Our sponsors this month are Molossi with a $30 prize pack and Flourish With A Bling with a $15 package including OS postage. So be creative and upload your card for this Feeling Sketchy challenge !

Feeling Sketchy inspirational post : Two ways to use mask

Hello everyone !

It's time for my inspirational post for the Feeling Sketchy blog !
Some of you have maybe already seen this layout before :

I made it as an example to use masks in an layout for one of my previous workshop. I added dimensions to one unique sheet of paper by simply using a white gel pen and white chalk.

I started by tracing a square in the center of the layout with the gel pen. Then, I use the Tim holtz compass mask with chalk outside the square (I did place a piece of paper to avoid chalk overlapping the inside).
Once all the compass done, I cleaned the mask and replace it at the exact same places to complete the pattern inside the square with the gel pen. Take a closer look :

It makes the inside square pops and looks like a different paper !

For the record, the pictures were taken in an ice rink inside a cruise boat sailing in the Carribean sea.

Have fun with this fun technique ! And don't forget to take a look at our list of August winners at Feeling Sketchy !
