An altered box : June IARC

This month, the I Am Roses challenge is about using a frame for a project. As I didn't have one, I did make some...One rectangle and one round. You will see.

I ate a lot of French cookies in beautiful tins when I was in the U.S., and I did bring them with me when I moved. So I decided to alter one for this challenge. Here is the result :

I covered the tin with Mod Podge and pink tissue paper. Once dried, I applied various ink (Smooch Spritz and Tattered Angels). I also stamped modeling paste+hot pink paint with a foam stamps (Making Memories), with a touch of white gelato (Faber-Castell).
I decorated this box with different laces and ribbons (Hobby Lobby, Celebrate-it,), flowers (Prima Marketing, I Am Roses, Petaloo, Making Memories) distressed with paint and ink, leaves (I Am Roses) covered with vanilla paint, some pearls, and embellishments (flourishes, frames, cameo) made with air dry clay and Martha Stewart molds.

To add a touch of color to some of the molded embellishments, I colored them with my Copics.

Ok, it's very pink. But I think it's a good fit for this challenge, don't you ?
