My love box

Ok, I took my time to post this one, but don't forget I'm on vacations !
So, I have another project published, in the June Cricut Magazine, but I cannot tell you on what page because I'm in France right now and I didn't see this issue... But I know I'm in because I bought the magazine online, and my husband received it and told me I was.

It's still not a layout, but an altered tin box, from one of my favorite French cookies, La Mere Poulard brand (found at Tuesday Morning by the way).

I painted the box with gesso, then with red acrylic paint. The top is covered with golden crackle paint by Tim Holtz, and the sides of the box with Basic Grey paper (I just highlight some patterns with a red gel pen).
Almost everything is made with my Cricut Expression, except the "love" blocks, the ribbons and the flourish pearls.

I use red and cream cardstock for flowers, cream cardstock and Basic Grey paper for the heart, red carstock for the phrase, and green one for the leaves. I also used golden Colrobox ink and red barn distress ink by Tim Holtz. The stamp is square block word by Inkadinkado, hand cut.

This box was made for one of my workshop. But I still have a lot of these cookies boxes (at Tuesday Morning, they know me as the cookies lady...), so I will probably made few different more.

Have a good day !

  1. Elle est superbe, ta boîte ! (Et au passage, c'est vrai que ces gâteaux sont un vrai délice). Ca me donne envie d'essayer ma crackle paint qui n'a encore jamais servi !
