2Peas CHA challenge, missed...

I'm back from my mountain vacations, with a layout I created with limited supplies for one of the 2 peas challenge, but without an internet connection, I wasn't able to upload it before today. So I will not play to win a CHA prize, but I'm sharing this layout with you anyway !

I only had 4 blocks of papers for the whole summer, so I choose for this page a "We R Memories keepers" paper pack, white lace, and a fushia ribbon from Webster's page. The flourish and flower paper looks like the perfect fit for this moment of silliness.

That was not my one and only layout during these no-internet-few-scrap-supplies vacation, I will show you the others soon.

Wish you a lot of silly moments today !

If you do not have a blog, you may link to an online gallery.
You have until the end of the month to enter (7/31). The winner will be randomly choosen.

Rafting Diva

I did take a break from painting, remodeling, assembling, lifting, and cleaning in my French house, and decided to create a layout for the C'est magnifique sketch challenge of July.
Once again, I had to pick into my small vacations scrapbag, and then I found I missed something. No paint, no stencil. But I did let some few years ago in this house so I found an old pansies stencil and white acrylic paint bought maybe ten years ago at Michaels !
so here is the result :

You can see the white paint and the pansies... I used We R Memories keepers papers and chipboards (same collection than the ones used for the previous challenge... remember, only one scrap bag...), a EK Success border punch and decorative scissors, I am Roses leaves, a white gel pen, and a Prima Marketing flower from the French Canection, Paris.

By the way, in 2 days it will be the French National day, and I will host a challenge, and you could win some of these flowers plus few other French things... So be sure to follow my blog, I will post the challenge this Sunday.

I hope you like my layout. See you soon !

My love box

Ok, I took my time to post this one, but don't forget I'm on vacations !
So, I have another project published, in the June Cricut Magazine, but I cannot tell you on what page because I'm in France right now and I didn't see this issue... But I know I'm in because I bought the magazine online, and my husband received it and told me I was.

It's still not a layout, but an altered tin box, from one of my favorite French cookies, La Mere Poulard brand (found at Tuesday Morning by the way).

I painted the box with gesso, then with red acrylic paint. The top is covered with golden crackle paint by Tim Holtz, and the sides of the box with Basic Grey paper (I just highlight some patterns with a red gel pen).
Almost everything is made with my Cricut Expression, except the "love" blocks, the ribbons and the flourish pearls.

I use red and cream cardstock for flowers, cream cardstock and Basic Grey paper for the heart, red carstock for the phrase, and green one for the leaves. I also used golden Colrobox ink and red barn distress ink by Tim Holtz. The stamp is square block word by Inkadinkado, hand cut.

This box was made for one of my workshop. But I still have a lot of these cookies boxes (at Tuesday Morning, they know me as the cookies lady...), so I will probably made few different more.

Have a good day !
